Presbyterian Resources

Being Presbyterian means being part of a "connectional church." We value the connections we have not only with other congregations in our area, but across the country.

Village Chapel is connected to 121 other Presbyterian congregations that make up the Presbytery of West Virginia, and over 11,000 other congregations nationwide as part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) denomination.

Being connected means we share resources, information, joys, and concerns. The following organizations are supported by Village Chapel and are supportive of our ministries in many ways.

Presbytery of West Virginia

Covering most of the state, except for the panhandles, the Presbytery assists in making connections between local congregations and the governing bodies. Its staff provide resources and help local congregations carry out their unique ministries.

The mission of Bluestone Camp is to provide experiences that are character building in nature through events for children, youth, and adults; and to provide opportunities for recreation, rest, and renewal through the use of our facilities as a Center of Christian Hospitality. It is a ministry of the Presbytery of West Virginia, and is located 13 winding miles outside of Hinton, West Virginia.
